You’ll see from our biographies that we have a close knit, family orientated management team. This helps keep us grounded and leads to a friendly approach to business.
Combining specialist knowledge with a practical approach, our team of M&E operatives include specialists electrical engineers and plumbers, and those with multi-trade experience. Our fully qualified and certified electrical engineers and plumbers are capable of carrying out installations, remedial works and compliance tests, in both domestic and commercial settings. Our multi-trade teams support our specialists by carrying out the minor repairs, remedial and building works necessary to ensure that any sites or premises are left clean, tidy and safe.
Chris Blair – Managing Director.
Chris joined the business in October 2010 after previously working in senior roles at Accord PLC, Cleanaway, and Local Government.
Chris is responsible for the overall day to day management of the business as well as the strategic and financial direction. Chris enjoys helping and advising the firm’s clients and the variety which comes from working with a range of industries from Local Authorities and Health Services to Government agencies.
Chris relishes the day-to-day challenges and client interaction that his work brings and is proud to be part of a company that delivers a more customer focused approach where services are tailored to meet their varying demands. Outside of work Chris likes to spend his time with his family.
Victoria Blair – Compliance Manager.
Victoria is responsible for all health, safety and environmental operations and procedures across the business. This includes all accreditations and policies at ARG. She joined the business in 2011 and has previously worked for the NHS and Sainsburys. Victoria is a technician member with BOHS Faculty of Asbestos Management and is an affiliate member of IOSH.
As well as a BA (hons) in Business and Politics, and being a licensed contract manager, she holds a wide range industry qualifications including UKATA Risk assessments and Plans of Work, RSPH Level 4 for Asbestos Contract Manager, W504 Asbestos and other fibres, NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate, NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (With Distinction), IOSH Managing Safely, ILM Level 3 Award in Effective Management and is currently studying for her ILM Level 5.
Victoria is always smiling around the office, loves helping customers and work colleagues and keeping everyone on track – and compliant. When not working, she loves nothing more than to relax by reading a good book.
Richard Blair – Operations Director.
Richard joined the business in 2017, prior to this he worked as a self-employed plumber and gas fitter for numerous main contractors. At ARG contracts he is responsible for delivering mechanical and electrical services and ensuring all sites and works are running to schedule and in a safe manner. Richard helps clients to eliminate risk and enjoys solving, any problems as they arise which can often bring down the overall cost of the works.
Richards holds qualifications including SMSTS, City and Guilds level 2 and 3 heating and plumbing, and domestic Gas Safe.
